HAVING BOOKS IS A CRIME. REPORT IT.
The book is divided in three parts. In it we will know the story of Hilário who loves books and the girl Alice, who loves to hear stories. Hilário is accused of a crime he swears he didn't commit and for not having the Gene-C and for these reasons he is sentenced to years and more years in prison. After solitary time in prison, Antônio, who is a Portuguese, arrives to share a cell with him. Antônio, ends up sharing the love of reading with Hilário and a beautiful friendship will be born.
We also know Alice, who everyone calls “girl”, she is a very sweet, cute, kind child who loves to hear stories. Unfortunately, she is blatantly despised by her parents, and ends up creating an affectionate bond with her new neighbor. Santiago Pena, has just arrived in Portugal and doesn't know anyone, and ends up becoming a friend of the family. Santiago forms a strong bond with Alice, and always ends up telling her great stories, since books are forbidden and anyone caught with them will have serious consequences.

Guys, what can I say about this book?! I really enjoyed reading, the characters are super striking and for that reason we ended up getting attached to them, especially for the girl Alice.
