…
Hello people, 🙋🏻♀️ today I bring you “The Silence of Books” by author Fausto Luciano panicacci @faustopanicacci 🥰📚😍

[…] The girl heard the noise, then another just like it, and another, and another, the pages of her precious little book being ripped out, the letters broken, the book dismantled. The shredder was turned on, and the girl saw the colored cover on it fade. Then it was the turn of the sheet with the grandmother's dedication. So several. The little girl watched her worlds turned into bland noodles, the machine spitting out strips of paper and letters, chewing on the soul of the book, chewing on the little girl.

. ✍🏼 This book is amazing, well constructed, it made me pay attention to some interesting things that happen around us, and in the daily rush we don't notice. The book is divided into three parts, the first and third parts being told through the eyes of Alice, a little girl who is, as we can say, “neglected” by her family. The second part, told through the eyes of Hilário Pena, a young man who finds himself in the middle of a mess and even without being diagnosed with the “C” gene, and because of that, suffers a consequence that will change his life completely. This book is about a society that is developing technologically and without the aid of books. “Having books is a crime. Report it!". That is the slogan of this society. .
.
✍🏼 There's no way to describe much of this book, without giving spoilers. But I can say that it is a beautiful book, Wonderful, harrowing, thought-provoking… it had painful moments. 😔 .
I loved! 😍😍😍

[…] The silence had sounds, and the books were calling, in whispers, to reading, and screaming, celebrating life. The Silence of the Books sang. The Silence of the books was the music itself.
